Kenneth James Mclaren

Kenneth James McLaren, age 89, of Unionville, passed away Saturday morning, March 26, 2016, at his home.

Ken was born December 4, 1926, in Wisner Twp., to the late William and Mary Ann (Collon) McLaren. He joined the U.S. Army in June 1945 and was honorably discharged as Corporal in November of 1946. He married Jeannette VanSteenhouse on November 5, 1949, at the Moravian Church in Unionville. He was a member of the American Legion.

Ken is survived by his wife, Jeannette; children: Michael (Glenna) McLaren, Patricia (Harold) Littleton and Brian (Jennifer) McLaren; brother, Richard (Janice) McLaren; grandchildren: Scott (Tara) McLaren, Michelle (Todd) Humpert, Tim McLaren, Kenneth Littleton, Jason Littleton, Justin McLaren (Kristen), Joshua McLaren (Kylie) and Megan McLaren; ten great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Ken is preceded in death by his sister, Dorothy McLaren; and grandson, Jeremy Littleton.

A memorial service will take place on Saturday, April 2, 2016, at the Unionville Moravian Church, at 11am.

Memorial donations may be given to the Unionville Moravian Church.

Burial of will take place at the church cemetery.
