Kenneth R. Rievert
Kenneth F. Rievert, age 73, passed away December 15, 2010, at his home in Sebewaing with his family by his side.
Ken was born in Sebewaing, September 3, 1937, to the late Walter & Emma (Simon) Rievert. Ken is a veteran of the U.S. Army. He married Marvel Kain December 26, 1961 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Sebewaing. He worked for Kundinger & Rievert Heating & Cooling for 47 years. Ken enjoyed mushroom hunting and attending deer camp with family and friends.
Ken is survived by his wife, Marvel; children: Beth (Kevin) Gainforth, Lisa (Darwin) Blaha, Steve (Deborah) Rievert, and Matthew Rievert; grandchildren: Kayla & Ethan Gainforth, Jared, Keegan, & Kendra Blaha, & Brendan & Alexis Rievert; sister: Carolyn Gage.
He is predeceased by his parents Walter & Emma Rievert and his siblings Robert Rievert and Lorraine Jahr.
Memorial gathering will take place Friday, December 17, 2010 from 1-8pm at Juengel & Mellendorf Funeral Home in Sebewaing.
A memorial service will take place Saturday, December 18, 2010 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Sebewaing at 11am.
Burial of his cremains will take place immediately after the service at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church, American Cancer Society, or Heartland Hospice.
