Kenneth L. "Kenn" Roach

Kenneth L. Roach of Caro, age 75, passed away on Saturday, December 21, 2019 at Covenant HealthCare - Harrison in Saginaw, following a period of declining health. Kenn was born May 22, 1944 in Cass City, the son of the late Lyle & Genevieve (Schwaderer) Roach. He grew up in Deford and graduated from Cass City High School with the class of 1962. Following graduation, he began a thirty-eight-year career in skilled trades with General Motors at Saginaw Steering Gear, retiring in 1999. Kenn was a member of the Caro Moose Lodge and its Moose Riders. He enjoyed country living, cooking from scratch, riding his motorcycle, and hunting in his earlier years. Kenn had a generous spirit and was always available to help family and friends. He was mechanically gifted by nature and could build or fix virtually anything. Kenn is survived by three children and their spouses, Jeffrey & Angie Roach of Pontiac, Cheryl & Gabe Sanger of Caro, Erin & Ryan Tabar of Marlette; eight grandchildren, Stephanie Roach of New Baltimore, Christopher Roach of Pontiac, Andrew Sanger of London, England, Sgt. Ethan & Briana Sanger of Fort Campbell, Kentucky, Devin Sanger of Caro, Kaitlyn, Chloe, and Aidan Miller, all of Marlette; great-grandchildren, Grayson and Bjorn Sanger; three siblings, Gladys Brigham of Vassar, Charles Roach of Lake Orion, Theron & Luana Roach of Deford; and many nieces and nephews. In keeping with Kenn's wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial gathering and luncheon will be held at the Caro Moose Lodge on Saturday, January 4, 2020 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to Mooseheart Child City and School at www.mooseheart.org.
