Kenneth “Ken” Stanley Lewis, 75, of Pigeon passed away Thursday, June 12, 2025. Ken was born in Bad Axe on October 31, 1949, to the late Stanley and Marian (Nichols) Lewis. Many occupations kept Ken busy throughout his life, including over 25 years as the owner of Lewis Logging and Firewood, Lewis Fireworks and maintaining the Mud Creek produce, flower, and thrift store for the last 13 years of his life. He spent over 40 years with his loving companion Tammy (Fritz) Lewis by his side.
Ken is survived by loving companion Tammy Lewis; son Kenneth J. (Deanna) Lewis of Florida; grandsons Kaden (Heather) Lewis and Keaton (Rebekah Hargis) Lewis of Florida; brothers Stanley Lewis of Bad Axe and Mark (Tammy) Lewis of Kinde; nieces Kerri Muzzarelli and Kandice (Tyrone) Hall of Port Richey, FL; as well as many other nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
Ken was preceded in death by sisters Katherine Hoefler and Lisa Simmons and brother Wes Lewis.
Funeral services for Ken will be at 7:00pm on Thursday, June 19, 2025, at Champagne Funeral Chapel, 7356 W. Michigan Ave., Pigeon, Michigan. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 4:00pm until the time of service. Memorials may be made to the Pigeon Community Food Pantry or Thumb Animal Shelter.
