Kevin Lee Gotwalt

Kevin Lee Gotwalt of Caro, age 34, passed away on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at Covenant Health Care - Harrison in Saginaw, following a courageous fourteen month battle with cancer. Kevin was born March 11, 1988 in Caro, the son of Kelli Gotwalt. He attended Caro High School and later became a foreman at Give ‘Em a Brake Safety for over three years. Kevin was a firefighter for the Cass City Fire Department and excelled in cage fighting. He loved to be outdoors; fishing, hunting, or golfing. Above all else, Kevin loved spending time with his son, Zhander, the absolute light of his life. Kevin's strong and brave battle will live on in the hearts of his family and friends. He will be dearly missed. Kevin's memory will forever be cherished by his son, Zhander; mother, Kelli Gotwalt and her husband, MaKenzie Jones; sister, Bobbi (Jarrod) Barck; brother, Triston Malloy; nephew, Deklan Barck; grandparents, Deb & Larry Boitel, Lionel Gotwalt, and Brian & Mary Jones; aunts, Kristi Gotwalt and Karri & Larry Wilson; several cousins and countless friends. Kevin was preceded in death by his brother, Jeffry Malloy; great-grandparents, Lois & Lionel Gotwalt, Sr. and Ray & Dorothy Johnson. Kevin's family will be present to receive visitors on Monday, July 25, 2022 from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro. In keeping with Kevin's wishes, cremation will follow.
