Kimberly Ann Sarles

Kimberly “Kim” Ann Sarles of Caro, age 59, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, July 25, 2026, while at her home. She was born on September 27, 1966 in Caro, the daughter of Harold Sarles and the late Rita (Jacques) Sarles. She attended Mayville High School, graduating with the Class of 1984. During her school years, she was a proud member of the cheerleading squad, a time she always looked back on with fond memories.

In 1990, she began her career as a secretary at Mayville Elementary School, where her love for children was evident every day. Countless students considered her their favorite member of the staff, and her warm smile, kind heart, and cheerful spirit made a lasting impact on generations of Mayville children. She faithfully served the school community until her retirement in 2016.

She enjoyed keeping her mind active through reading, crossword puzzles, and word searches. She also loved spending time in the kitchen, preparing delicious meals for her family. Her homemade pasta dishes were always a favorite, and nothing compared to her lasagna, a birthday tradition her daughters requested year after year. She took great pride in caring for her yard, especially filling it with beautiful hanging flower baskets that attracted hummingbirds, one of her favorite sights to enjoy from home.

Above all, she was the heart of her family. She was the matriarch who brought everyone together with her love, strength, and unwavering support. She will be remembered as a devoted daughter, mother, sister, aunt, and grandmother whose love will continue to be felt by all who are fortunate enough to know her.

Left to cherish Kimberly’s memory are her daughters, Katy (Chad) and Kristy (Andrew); grandchildren, Kendall, Nolan, and Bristol; father, Harold Sarles; siblings, Dale (LaDonya), Mary (Kevin), and Linda (Vern); and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her mother, Rita (Jacques) Sarles, Kimberly was preceded in death by her brother, William (Bill) Sarles; and twin nephews, Edward & Earl Fox.

Kim’s memorial service will be on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. at the Ransford Funeral Home in Caro. Kim’s family will be present to receive visitors at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of her service.
