Kin L. Geilhart

June 30, 1955 — February 17, 2013

Kin L. Geilhart age 57, of Mayville died Sunday evening, February 17, from injuries received in an auto accident.

He was born June 30, 1955 in Detroit to the late Jimmie and Iris (Bitnar) Geilhart.
Kin and his family moved to Caro at an early age, he graduated from Caro High School in 1974. That same year, he went to Alaska to work on the Alaskan Pipeline. He later returned to Caro and in 1980, he moved to Colorado where he was a building contractor.

On February 18, 1984, he was united in marriage to Terri Damm. In 2000, he went to South Dakota and returned to Colorado in 2004. In 2007, he came back to the Thumb area, settling near Mayville and started his own business, Kin-do-it-all Construction.
Kin enjoyed deer hunting in Michigan and elk hunting in Colorado.

He is survivied by, daughter, Chaslyn (Chris) Williams of Arvada, Colorado; granddaughter, Kyleigh: son, Kin Lado Jr. of Oklahoma; two brothers, Coke (Janice) Geilhart of Pigeon and Ric (Carrie) Geilhart; his sister, Tami of Owendale and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death was a sister, Dawn Forster.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 PM Saturday at Champagne Funeral Chapel, Elkton with Rev. Karen Bouverette, officiating with interment in St. Roch Cemetery, Caseville.

Friends are welcome for visitation from 2 to 8 PM Friday and after 10 AM Saturday.
