Kirk Edward Asher

Kirk Edward Asher, age 40, of Saginaw, formerly of Caseville, died suddenly Sunday, March 14, 2010 at home.

Kirk was born July 3, 1969 in Royal Oak to Arlen Asher and the late Judith (Cole). He graduated from Elkton-Pigeon-Bay Port -Laker High School in 1987 and then received his Bachelor’s degree from Saginaw Valley State University. He has lived in the Saginaw area after finishing school. He enjoyed music, golfing, fishing, reading and watching hockey.

Surviving is his father Arlen of Caseville; brother Dale (Renee) of Martinez, California; grandmother Alma Rubino of Livonia; uncles Tom (Jane) Asher of Indiana, Jim (Joyce) Asher of Novi, Don (Sherry) Asher of Ohio, George (Carol) Asher of Houghton Lake and Jerry (Susan) Riches of Kentucky; and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother Judith Asher in 2007 and grandparents George Asher and Convis and Margaret Cole.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 am Saturday, March 20th at the Champagne Funeral Chapel of Caseville with Rev. Karen Bouverette officiating.

Visitation will be 2-8 pm Friday.

Memorials may be made to the local food pantry.
