Kristi Graflund

Kristi Kay Graflund, age 34 years, of Waterford, formerly of Akron and Caro, passed away on Saturday, November 17, 2007 at DMC Harper University Hospital in Detroit. Kristi Kay Walstead was born on February 6, 1973 in Bay City. Kristi was a Caro High School graduate. She was a practicing cosmetologist in Waterford. She enjoyed life, her children, and her profession. It was Kristis goal in life to make everyone smile. She is survived by her children, Zachery, Brittni, Jacob, Madison and Sammy; her brothers, Cory Walstead and Norma Villalpando of Akron, Steve Walstead and Kelly Burnison of Fairgrove, Jeremy (Stacey) Kukulski of Vassar, Jeff Sherman and Tim Sherman of Gillett, Wyoming; her step-parents, Stella and Leroy Sherman of Akron, her grandmother, Betty (Earl) Hulbert of West Branch; as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Kristi was preceded in death by her mother, Deborah Ann Walstead. The funeral service will be at the Collon Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 21, 2007 at 11:00 am with Mary Ann Saenen officiating. Following cremation, burial will be at Cadillac Memorial Gardens in Mt. Clemens. Visitation will be at the Collon Funeral Home on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. Memorials may be made to the Kristi Kay Graflund family discretionary fund, c/o Cory Walstead.
