L. Frank Wilding

L. Frank Wilding age 50 of Sebewaing died early Sunday morning, August 16, at McLaren Bay Region Hospital after a long battle with health problems.

He was born January 25, 1965 in Flint to Janice K. (Brown) Wilding and the late Lawrence G. Wilding. The family moved to Port Austin shortly after his birth and then to Gagetown when he was 9 years old.

Frank was employed at Active industries in Elkton for a number of years, retiring in 1993 for health reason, following an automobile accident where he received multiple severe injuries.

On September 4, 2004, he was united in marriage to Barbara S. Maxwell in Caseville.

His activities were limited, but he did enjoy traveling, going to the casino and scratch off lottery tickets.

Surviving are his wife, Barbara; two sons, Matthew (Tamie Bruce) Gaeth of Kinde and Aaron (Tenishia Dubs) Gaeth of Sebewaing; a daughter, Nichole Bryant of Alexander City, AL; his grandson, Brantley; his mother, Janice Wilding of Black River; three brothers, Chuck Wilding of Livermore, CA, Keith (Jolie) Wilding, of Biloxi, MS and James (Nancy Jaworski) Wilding of Black River.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Cheryl Lynn and Marjorie Kay; a brother, Richard; his grandmother, Marjorie Brown and great grandmother, Minnie (Gillingham) Williams.

A memorial service will conducted 11:00 AM Wednesday at the funeral home in Elkton. Cremation has taken place.
