Larry Lee Heinitz

Larry Lee Heinitz, age 68, passed away February 25, 2025, at the Huron County Medical Care Facility in Bad Axe, the place he called home for many years, formerly of Sebewaing. He was born in Cass City on April 27, 1956, to the late Lawrence and Florence (Holzwart) Heinitz.

Larry worked for many years at Tower in Elkton, and was well known for delivering newspapers around town. A true practical joker, he loved to cook, draw, read, and could chat with just about anyone willing to listen.

Larry is survived by his 2 children: Marc'l (Shawn) Kish and Shane (Brittany) Heinitz; 2 granddaughters: Ava Kish and Jade Heinitz; 2 sisters: Cathy Heinitz (fiancé Gary Seib) and Becky (Larry) Heider; 2 brothers: Jeff and Jerry Heinitz; and nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Mark Heinitz; and sister, Judy Engel.

Cremation has taken place. Memorial contributions may be given to the family (c/o Marc'l Kish).

The family of Larry Lee would like to extend the utmost gratitude to all of the staff at HCMCF. We couldn't imagine traveling this journey with anyone else. You were genuinely like family to him. We would also like to thank Compassus Hospice for everything they did over the last few months.
