Larry “Mike” Michael Williams of Sand Point, age 68, passed away unexpectedly at home on Sunday morning, June 28, 2026. He was born in Mt. Clemens on December 9, 1957, the son of the late Robert and Pirette (Corbeil) Williams. Mike graduated from Dryden High School and went on to work at Ford Michigan Proving Grounds. He retired from the ground maintenance department after thirty dedicated years. In June of 2001, Mike married the love of his life, Cynthia Stier in Mt. Clemens.
Growing up, Mike was especially close to his cousins, and some of his favorite memories were made during the countless days they spent together on Duck Lake. Mike loved going to his parents' home on Lake St. Clair, he always had a lifelong love of the water. Whether he was boating, fishing, or just enjoying a day on the lake, he was always happiest on the water. In his spare time, he also enjoyed woodworking. One of his greatest joys was taking his grandchildren out on the boat and helping them catch the biggest fish they could find. Mike was loved by everyone who knew him. He was generous, kind, and had a calm, loving spirit that made everyone feel welcome.
Mike leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of twenty-five years, Cindy; son and his wife, Nathan & Cindy Williams; grandchildren, Drew & Emily Williams; siblings, Terry Arnold, Ron Williams, and Jerry Williams; nephew, Shane Arnold; niece, Jennifer Rzesvut; several great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and friends.
In keeping with Mike’s wishes, cremation will take place and a Celebration of Life is being planned for a later date.
