Larry Lee Vande Mark

Larry Lee Vande Mark, age 84, of Akron, passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2020, at Huron Woods Nursing Home in Kawkawlin.

Larry was born February 10, 1936, in Unionville, to Lloyd and Clayatha (Cousens) Vande Mark. After graduating from High School, he joined the United States Army. He married Gloria (Scharich), she preceded him in death June 23, 2016. He worked as a construction worker and as a custodian. Larry enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening and the great outdoors.

Larry is survived by his children: Steven (Shelly) Vande Mark of Linwood, Dawn (Randy) Bauer of Bay City and Lisa (Kent) Graf of Caro; sister, Judy (Gary) Hoppe; grandchildren: Daniel (Kendra) Rummel and Kyle Graf; and great grandchildren: Preston and Hadley Rummel.

Larry is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Gloria, brothers: Raymond, Arnold, Eldon, John, Eddie, Bruce and Roy; and sisters: Mary Jane Oliver and Arla Meininger.

The visitation and funeral will be held Friday, March 13, 2020, at Juengel & Mellendorf Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 2-7pm with at service at 7pm. Pastor Steven Stolarczyk will be officiating.

Memorial donations may be given to the Diabetes Association.
