Larry “Lucky” Whitefoot, 65, of Tuscon, Arizona passed away Sunday, May 27, 2018 Scheurer Hospital unexpectedly.
Lucky was born in Toledo, Ohio on February 1, 1953, the seventh child of nine, to the late Otis John and Ann (Poor) Whitefoot. Lucky had been a “snowbird” of late and had spent his winters at his home in Tucson, Arizona and his summers with family in Michigan and Ohio. Lucky had spent four years in the Navy, owned several salons but most of his working years were in marketing. Lucky will be remembered for changing colors, red is green and blue is black. He spent much time imparting wisdom he had gained through life to his many nieces and nephews. He was quick with a joke and somehow he could make them seem relevant to the current talk. Lucky had a very positive outlook on life and was willing to help any time. Lucky will be forever missed by not only his family but also the many lives he has touched along the journey.
He is survived by his Daughter Jennifer; grandson TJ; and brothers and sisters Dan Whitefoot, Bill Whitefoot, Jerry Whitefoot, Don Whitefoot, Bob Whitefoot and Sue Whitefoot. He was preceded in death by his brother Jack Whitefoot and sister Phyllis Whitefoot.
We are having coffee with Lucky at Villagers Restaurant in Holly on Wednesday June 20 th starting at 1130am followed by a service at the Great Lakes National Cemetery at 1:30 pm. Champagne Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements.
