Laura F. Neuman

Laura F. Neuman, age 100, of Sebewaing, passed away Thursday, March 7, 2013 at Courtney Manor Nursing Home in Bad Axe. She was born April 5, 1912 at home in Sebewaing Twp. to the late Charles and Katherine (Gettel) Kundinger. In May 1926 she was confirmed at St. Peters Lutheran Church in Bach. On August 28, 1934 she married Arnold Neuman. He preceded her in death on November 21, 1984. She enjoyed working on the family farm, quilting, flower gardening and crafting.

Laura is survived by her brother, Harold Kundinger of Sebewaing; sister-in-law, Ethel Lindman of Sebewaing; and many loving nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and two sisters, Clara Dressler and Esther Kurzer.

Visitation will be Saturday, March 9, 2013 at Juengel & Mellendorf Funeral Home in Sebewaing from 3-8pm.

The funeral service will be Sunday, March 10, 2013 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Sebewaing. Visitation will begin at the church at 1pm until the time of service at 2pm.

Burial will be private at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Sebewaing after the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Immanuel Lutheran radio mission or Immanuel Lutheran Church-General Fund.
