Lavonna "Bonnie" Fox

Lavonna "Bonnie" Fox of Caro, age 84, passed away on Monday, May 9, 2016 at Fisher Senior Care and Rehab Center in Mayville. She was born March 20, 1932 in Koylton Township, the daughter of the late Hazen and Ruth (Ellis) Hutchins. She was united in marriage with Robert Fox on July 14, 1982 in Tennessee Colony, Texas, and he survives her. Bonnie was employed at the Caro Regional Center for twenty-eight years, prior to her retirement. She loved hummingbirds, her CB handle was "hummer," shopping on QVC, playing the organ, clarinet and accordion. word search puzzles and traveling. Bonnie would cut, curl or perm anyone who would let her give them her special hair style. She was a life member of the Caro Moose Lodge. Bonnie is survived by her husband, Robert Fox of Caro; seven children and their spouses, Cheryl A. Hurd of Charlotte, North Carolina, Bill & Barb Kelley of Midland, Suzanne G. Kelley of Mayville, Deborah J. Dibble of Caro, Timothy A. & Holly Kelley of Caro, Nadeen & Jim Wolford of Caro, Elizabeth & Geir Hunsbedt of Caro; sixteen grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren; two brothers; and many loved nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Robert J. Fox; one brother, Owen Hutchins; and the father of her five children, Howard E. Kelley. In keeping with Bonnie's wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family service will take place at a later date.
