Lavonne Holcomb

Lavonne Holcomb of Caro, age 74, passed away on Friday, February 10, 2017 at Medilodge of Cass City. Lavonne was born October 2, 1942 in Flint, the daughter of the late William & Gertrude (Dunham) Graham. She spent over nineteen years in plastics production, and spent her free time making crafts, watching the Detroit Pistons and collecting Marilyn Monroe memorabilia. In her younger years, Lavonne enjoyed fishing at the Cass River Dam in Caro. Left to cherish her memory are one son, Terry Holcomb; two grandchildren, Shane Holcomb and Kyrstie (Alex) Vargo; three great-grandchildren; and one brother, Leon (Marion) Graham. In keeping with Lavonne's wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 24, 2017 at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro with Pastor Ron Wigand officiating. The family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider contributions to the Holcomb Family Discretionary Fund.
