Lawrence "Larry" Brault

Lawrence H. Brault, age 83, passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at Aleda Lutz V.A. Medical Center in Saginaw, following a long struggle with diabetes and pneumonia. He was born November 7, 1928 in Crookston, Minnesota, the son of the late Albert and Mary (Lizotte) Brault. Larry retired as an engineer with CSX Railroad. He was united in marriage with the former Dolores Zamudio on August 12, 2006 in Caro. Larry was a resident of the Frankenmuth Lutheran Home until he was transferred to Aleda Lutz V.A. Medical Center in Saginaw for health reasons. He was a member of the Polish American Club in Caro and Caro V.F.W. Post #4164. Larry enjoyed hunting and card games and loved his cats and dogs. He is survived by his wife, Dolores; one daughter, Jennifer Brault; one son, Jamie Brault; three grandchildren, Savanna and Mark McCormick and Marissa Brault and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Lawrence was preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters, Ann Johnson, Lucielle Brault, Leo Brault, Louis Brault, Aggie Wichterman Shawver, Maurice Brault, Leonard Brault and Francis Brault. A memorial service will be held at 11:15 a.m. on Sunday, January 15, 2012 at Aleda Lutz V.A. Medical Center in Saginaw. The family wishes to extend special thanks to Aleda Lutz V.A. Medical Center, Palliative Care Unit.
