Leatha M. Wisenbach

Leatha M. Wisenbach of Caro, age 94, passed away on Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at Timberline Lodge in Caro. Leatha was born November 12, 1925 in Gagetown, the daughter of the late Rudolph and Helen (Beitz) Koch. She was a graduate of County Normal and Central Michigan University. She taught for many years at the George School in Caro prior to teaching at Caro schools. She was united in marriage with Delano Wisenbach on September 7, 1946 in Bach and he preceded her in death in March of 1994. Leatha was a longtime member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Caro, the Caro Shuffleboard Club, and enjoyed playing cards. Leatha is survived by four children and their spouses, Gail & David Rohlfs of Caro, Cindy & Paul Voss of Lewiston, Brian & Robin Wisenbach of Caro, Alan & Sheila Wisenbach of Caro; eleven grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and two step-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Leatha was preceded in death by three siblings, Raymond Koch, Selma Louis, and Vera Koch. A private graveside service will be held at the Almer Township Cemetery with Rev. Cameron Steele officiating.
