Lee Glen Farrington

Lee G. Farrington, age 67, of Caseville, died Saturday, August 1, 2009 at Huron Medical Care Facility near Bad Axe after a long illness.

Lee was born May 24, 1942 in Warren, Ohio to the late Glen and Lois (Lossee) Farrington. He served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam war. On November 13, 1971 he married Erna Hicks in Wyandotte. Together they lived in Westland while Lee worked at Montgomery Ward in auto maintenance.

In 1997 they moved permanently to Caseville. Lee was a member of the Caseville Eagles. He enjoyed boating, fishing, reading, and also listening to music.

Lee is the much beloved husband of Erna; step-father of Connie Green of Ypsilanti, Caren Pankow of Mt. Pleasant, and Richard (Julie) Pankow of Florida; grandfather of Jocelyn, Samantha, Cody and Jamie; brother of Ann (John) McNab of South Carolina and Kathy (James) Burch of Farmington Hills; uncle to Debbie (Kevin) Moore of Kalamazoo and Kevin (Becky) of Colorado; and great-uncle to five.

A Memorial Service will be at 12:30 Thursday, August 6th at the Champagne Funeral Chapel of Caseville, followed by a luncheon at the Caseville Eagles.

Visitation will be from 10:00 AM Thursday until the time of the service.

Memorials may be made to either Alzheimer’s Association or Parkinson’s Foundation.
