Leland Arthur Armbruster

Leland "Lee" A. Armbruster, age 98, of Unionville, passed away  January 5, 2018, at Green Acres Assisted Living in Greenville, MI.

Lee was born, August 4, 1919, in Unionville, to Arthur and Elsie (Schmidt) Armbruster. On July 13, 1946, he married Florence Sticken, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Linkville. She preceded him in death on July 18, 1993. Lee had his pilot's license and flew helicopters and    private planes. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Unionville, the Unionville Moravian Church and National Rifle Association. He owned and operated Lee Armbruster Sales in Unionville, and enjoyed hunting, fishing and working on his cars.

Lee is survived by his son, Terry (Barb) Armbruster of Greenville; grandson, Eric (Marcia) Armbruster of Honolulu, Hawaii; great     grandchildren: Timothy (Abigail) and Isaac Armbruster; and great great grandchildren: Aralyn and Nicholas Armbruster.

Lee is preceded in death by his wife, Florence; son, Larry Armbruster; and sister, Leatha ("Bud") Patton.

Visitation will be Thursday, January 11, 2018, from 4-8pm and Friday, January 12, 2018, from 2-8pm at Juengel & Mellendorf Funeral Home in Sebewaing.

The funeral service will be Saturday, January 13, 2018, at the Unionville Moravian Church in Unionville. Visitation will begin at 10am until the time of service at 11am.

Burial will be at the church cemetery.

Memorial donations may be given to Unionville Moravian Church or the charity of your choice.
