Lenora L. Hile

Lenora L. Hile of Caro, age 80, passed away on Friday, January 29, 2016 at Select Specialty Hospital in Saginaw. Lenora was born December 9, 1935 in Bay City, the daughter of the late Louis & Ruth (Duchane) Cholas. She was united in marriage with Harland J. Hile on October 23, 1952 in Dennison, Texas, and he preceded her in death on February 25, 2000. Lenora was employed by IGA in Caro for over thirty years in the produce and meat department, and later worked at Bill's Foodland for ten years as a produce manager, retiring in 2003. She was a member of the Caro Moose Lodge and greatly enjoyed sewing. Left to cherish Lenora's memory are two daughters and their husbands, Deb & Glen Cregar of Caro, Melody & Bryan Warju of Caro; eleven grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren with two more expected shortly; eight great-great-grandchildren; two sisters and their husbands, Mona & Dick Nelson of Traverse City, Gloria & Bob Britton of Bay City; and many nieces and nephews. A luncheon and celebration of Lenora's life will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 4, 2016 at the Caro Moose Lodge.
