Leo Wright

Leo Wright, age 75, of Caro passed away on Friday, April 9, 2010 at his home. He was born on January 8, 1935 in Caro to the late Kenneth and Jalana (Putman) Wright and was a lifelong resident. At age 15, Leo went from farm to farm collecting milk which he delivered to the Caro Creamery. Leo Wright and the former Charlotte Sylvester were united in marriage on April 20, 1954 in Caro. He later worked at Valeron in Caro, along with working at Marlette Homes, and retired from Decade Homes where he worked as an electrician in 1997. Leo enjoyed being with his family, hunting, fishing and going to casinos. The family would like to recognize the wonderful care and compassion afforded by Heartland Hospice. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Charlotte; two children, Randy (Mary) Wright of Caro and Wanda (Frank) Anthony of Caro; four grandchildren, John (Carrie) Clouse of Mayville, Barb (Jeff) Funsch of Caro, Josh Wright of Caro, and Valerie Wright of Kentucky, four great-grandchildren, Codi and Zachery Fader, Bryanna Funsch and Justin Clouse; one sister, Donna (Nick) Dashkevicz of Caro; several nieces and nephews; his best friend, Jerry Hile of Caro; and his companions, Luckye and Sissie. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Scott Anthony Wright. The memorial service will be held at the Collon Funeral Home in Caro on Monday, April 12, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. with Chris Taylor guiding family remembrances. Following cremation, burial will be in Indianfields Township Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Collon Funeral Home on Sunday, April 11, 2010 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Monday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Leo Wright family discretionary fund, c/o Charlotte Wright, 302 S.
