Leon Spencer Garwald

Leon Spencer Garwold of Caro, age 77, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November 16, 2019. Leon was born December 7, 1941 in Almont. He was united in marriage with the former Sharon Kay Wright on August 11, 1989 at the Lapeer County Court House. Leon was employed as a dairy and crop farmer. Survivors include his wife, Sharon Kay Garwold; three children, Tony & Wendi Garwold of Yale, Sandra Garwold of Port Huron, Connie Garwold of Greenville; fourteen grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; Sharon's children, Ronda Wright of Applegate, Wendy Pioch and husband, Tom, of Fostoria, and Lanny Wright of Barnes Lake. Leon's body has been donated to Wayne State University. No services are planned at this time.
