Leona Matilda Prom

Leona M. Prom, 98, of Port Austin, died Sunday, April 24, 2022 at Huron County Medical Care Facility in Bad Axe.

Leona was born Christmas Eve 1923 in Macomb County to the late Alexander and Anna (Koroleski) Purol.  She married Raymond Prom on December 22, 1946 in Highland Park; he preceded her in death January 23, 1993.  She retired from the Detroit Police Department as a civilian senior clerk.  She was previously a member of the Caseville Retirees and enjoyed bowling.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and all of her siblings:  Irene, Beatrice, Leonard, Wallace, Katherine, Genevieve, and Theresa.  She is survived by several nieces and nephews.

No services are planned.  Champagne Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements.
