LeRoy F. Jacot, age 94 years, of Colwood Road, Caro, passed away on Sunday, March 5, 2006, at his home. He was born on November 19, 1911, in Caro. LeRoy married the former Ethel Sellers in 1936 in Cincinnati. She preceded him in death on January 13, 1991. He then married the former Marilyn Albrecht on February 27, 1993, in Carsonville. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He enjoyed fishing, and in his younger years he enjoyed flying his airplane. LeRoy had been employed as a General Supervisor at the Caro Regional Center until his retirement in 1971. LeRoy enjoyed spending time with family and was a loving father and grandfather. He held a special place in his heart for his cocker spaniel, Zazu. He is survived by his wife, Marilyn; one daughter and son-in-law, Betty (Tim) Maskell; two grandsons, Scott and Brian; three sisters, Viola, Caroline and Leone; one brother, Ron; one very close friend and fishing buddy, Ken; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one sister, Lula. A memorial service will be held at the Collon Funeral Home in Caro on Saturday, March 11, 2006, at 11:00 a.m. Following cremation, burial will be at Almer Township Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Collon Funeral Home on Saturday, March 11, 2006, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. Memorials may be made to United Hospice.
