Lidia Abigail Johnson

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beautiful little girl, Lidia Abigail Johnson, who passed from our hands to God's on Tuesday, April 11, 2017. "Lids" was born January 18, 2004 in Lapeer, the daughter of Jason & Mary Sue (Craig) Marygold. She was currently a seventh-grade student at Cass City Jr. and Sr. High School, and recently attended Caro Middle School. She will be remembered for her big heart, outgoing personality and love of friends. Music was a passion, and she could often be found drawing, reading comic books, or watching YouTube. Lidia's nickname "Jellybean" was reflective of one of her true loves in life. She was a fan of superheroes, especially Batman, but left room in her heart for the occasional villain like Harley Quinn. Her constant love of people and amazing sense of humor abide in the hearts she leaves behind. Left to cherish Lidia's memory are her parents, Jason & Mary Sue Marygold of Gagetown; one sister, Emily Lynn Johnson of Caro; two brothers, Greg & Jaxon Marygold of Gagetown; maternal grandparents, Judy & Chuck Yates; aunts and uncles, Janie & Chuck Steiner of Caro, Dave & Becky Bucholtz of Caro, Dave Craig of Caro, Michael Craig of Caro, Sherry & Kyle Eberlein of Unionville; many cousins and countless friends. Lidia was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Beaudry Craig; uncle, Allen Craig; and great-great-uncle, Lavern Cosens. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at the Caro United Methodist Church, 670 West Gilford Road, with Rev. Dr. William Sanders officiating.
