Lila Rice

Lila A. Rice, age 90, of Caro passed away on Friday, September 3, 2010 at Tendercare of Cass City. She was born on January 27, 1920 in Unionville. Lila Moore married William Richard Rice on July 2, 1958 in Flint. He preceded her in death on April 10, 1986. She cared for 200 chickens until a couple of years ago. She loved to make handmade quilts and rugs. She is survived by one son, Calvin (Betty) Rice of Caro; two grandsons, William and Kevin Rice; one granddaughter, Kristina Rice; and two great-grandsons, Chace Rice and Izaiah Ellison. The funeral service will be held at the Collon Funeral Home in Caro on Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens , Saginaw. Visitation will be held at the Collon Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 7, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Funeral arrangements were made by the Collon Funeral Home in Caro.
