Linda Archuleta

Linda Archuleta, age 61, of Caro, passed away on September 18, 2008 at her residence. The former Linda Canup was born on June 26, 1947 at Detroit to the late James and Celina (Brussens) Canup. She was united in marriage to Rudy Archuleta in Denver Colorado. Linda was a homemaker and mother who was involved in family affairs and kept track of their activities. She had attended the Community of Christ Church and enjoyed crocheting, sewing and gardening, as well as collecting objects with chickens on them. She is survived by her husband, Rudy; two sons and one daughter, Dale Walker of Lewiston, Rudy Archuleta, Jr. of Washington and Cathy (Ray) Gonzales of Amarillo, Texas; her grandchildren, Edward, Jess and James Fisher and Allison Totten; her siblings, Marvin Canup of Gaylord, Alton (Barbara) Canup of Onsted, Darlene (Mike) Gasper of Leroy, Median (Allen) Downing of Paducah, Kentucky; one brother-in-law; Dan Will of Dearborn Heights; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Ed Fisher and Darrel Gene Walker; and a sister, Madeline Will. A private family gathering is being planned. Following cremation burial will be in the family plot in Kentucky. There will be no visitation at the Collon Funeral Home.
