Linda Lou Dunham

Linda Lou Dunham of Caro, age 68, passed away on Friday, March 17, 2017 at Covenant Medical Center - Cooper in Saginaw. Linda was born January 19, 1949 in Cass City, the daughter of the late J. D. & Mae (Brown) Harneck, and was a 1967 graduate of Kingston High School. While growing up, she had two special horses, Surfer Girl and Misty. Linda was united in marriage with Dennis Dunham on July 20, 1969 at the Kingston United Methodist Church. Her working years were spent as a nurse's aide for Caro Community Hospital and the Tuscola County Medical Care Community. Her most important job, however, was caring for her family as a homemaker. She was a member of the Kingston United Methodist Church. She loved to give furniture a second chance, and was able to spot treasures that could be repurposed while visiting rummage sales with her husband. She also enjoyed collecting antiques, especially dishes, gardening, and going to the beach. Even in declining health, Linda's seven granddaughters were always on her mind. Left to cherish her memory are her husband of forty-seven years, Dennis Dunham of Caro; three children and their spouses, Sonya & Gary Sy of Sebewaing, Shaun & Jessie Dunham of Caro, Julie & Randy Clink of Caro; her seven grandchildren, affectionately referred to as the "Seven Pack", Kayla and Bailey Sy, Stephanie, Madison, and Claire Dunham, Kyliee LaRose, and Addison Clink. In keeping with Linda's wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service in celebration of her life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 24, 2017 at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro with Rev. Jonathan D. Herron officiating. The family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 1:00 p.m. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society.
