Linda Kay Hessler

Linda K. Hessler, age 60, of Sebewaing, went to see her Lord on Tuesday, January 26, 2021, at Ascension St. John Hospital in Detroit, after a lengthy illness with COPD.

Linda was born on August 3, 1960, in Saginaw, to Harry and Marion (Andrus) Putman. Linda was a very caring person. She was a proud homemaker, who took great pride in preparing great daily meals and maintaining a beautiful home for her family. She enjoyed spending time with her 5 children, 14 grandbabies, her fiancé Dan and his 3 children. Linda also enjoyed her coffee, computer, painting and her phone calls with her friend Kathy Dutcher.

Linda is survived by her fiancé Daniel Czewski of Sebewaing and his children: Daniel, Kirkland and Allison; her children: Shawn Hurley of Sebewaing and his children: Timothy, Mason, Santanna, Destiny, Gage and Cooper Hurley, Dawn Hurley-Powers (Allan) and her children: Keegan, Kenyan Kwintyn and Kaiden, Roxane Hessler of Harper Woods and her children: Arnez and Zariana Snerling, Roseane (Troy) Wessler of Sebewaing and her children Emily and Ava Wessler, and Megan (Bobby Collis) Hessler and his child, Acelin Collis; siblings: Harry Putman, Goldie (Chuck) Magiera, Dennis Putman, Deborah Finkbeiner, Allen Putman, Francine Cejka. Gladys Putman (Dave Collard) and Nancy Putman; 9 step siblings; best friend of over 40 years, Kathy Dutcher; and many nieces and nephews; and ex-husband, Randall Hessler.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Harry Putman and Marion Brock; step father, Harley Brock; aunts, uncles, grandparents: Frank and Gladys Putman, Earl Andrus, Goldie Cowell; and sister-in-law Geneva Hollis; and husband, Timothy Hurley.

Visitation will be Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at Juengel-Mellendorf Funeral Home in Sebewaing from 2-8pm. Due to COVID, masks must be worn and a limit of 25 people in the building at one time.
