Linda K. Middleton, 63 of Sebewaing, passed away Sunday, February 15, 2015 at Scheurer Hospital in Pigeon.
Born in Pigeon on November 15, 1951, she was the daughter of John G. and Esther (Yoder) Steckley. She married Cleon "Wells" Middleton in Oxford on February 17, 1990 and they lived in Oxford for many years until retiring to Fairhaven Township.
Linda enjoyed traveling and the out-of-doors. She enjoyed fishing and hunting with her husband, and loved her horses, which she raised for 15 years. She also loved her other family pets. Linda liked to read, and enjoyed crocheting during her illness.
She is survived by her husband, Wells Middleton; daughter and son-in-law, Robin and Eric Switras of Oxford; grandchildren, Mackenzie and Logan; her mother, Esther Steckley of Sebewaing; sisters and brothers-in-law, Norma and Lee Tucker of Denver, Colorado and Carolyn and Scott Marker of Sebewaing; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Preceding her in death were her son, Shane Heck and her father, John Steckley.
The Funeral Service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 19, 2015 at Pigeon River Mennonite Church, Pigeon, with Pastor Ken Dietzel officiating. Cremation will follow.
