Linda Remsing, age 58 years, of Pontiac, died unexpectedly on Friday, December 2, 2005, at home. She was born on April 26, 1947, in Cass City, the daughter of Albert (Dart) and Leona Curtis. She married Joseph Remsing on July 25, 1964. Linda retired from General Motors to her lifelong passion, Bingo. She enjoyed attending fairs to watch her sons figure eight races and spending quality time with her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends and many “bingo buddies.” Linda is survived by her children, Kelly Knight of Cass City, Joseph (Sherri) Remsing of Pontiac and Christy Bell of Norfolk, Virginia; stepsons, Brian and Will Avis of Pontiac; grandsons, J.C. Knight, Devin, M.J. and Malik Bell. She was the youngest sister of Judy Rabideau of West Branch, James (Charlene) Curtis of Cass City, David Curtis of Decker and Joe Curtis of Mio. She was preceded in death by her parents; infant sister, Janet; grandson, Little Joe; and brother-in-law, Elden Rabideau. There will be visitation at the Collon Funeral Home in Caro on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Friday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be at Novesta Township Cemetery.
