Linda Ann Sattler

Linda Ann Sattler, age 76, of Unionville, passed away Saturday, September 7, 2024, at McLaren Bay Region in Bay City.

Linda was born in Pigeon on August 31, 1948, to Joseph and Mary (Bozarth) Lorencz, Jr. She graduated from Owengage High School in 1966. Linda then attended Ferris State University to study business administration. She married James A. Sattler on November 26, 1966, at St. Agatha Catholic Church in Gagetown. She worked many years in banking. Linda enjoyed bowling and meeting up with her "Bowling Group:, fishing, deer hunting, camping, visiting up north, attending the grandchildren's activities, flower gardening and walking 2 miles every day with her friend, Alice.

Linda is survived by her husband, Jim; son, Tom (Kristin) Sattler; mother, Mary Lorencz; grandsons: Aaron, Tommy, Robert (LouAnn), Jacob (Molly), Bryce and Christian; granddaughter, Jessica (Ben) DeHart; sisters: Mary Lorencz, Margaret (John) Shagena, Elizabeth (Tom) Fritz and Kathy (Michael D'Onofrio) Sciumeca; daughter-in-law, Lyn Sattler; sisters-in-law: Gwendolyn (Michael) Allanson and Stephanie Sattler; brother-in-law, Steve (Carol) Sattler, many cousins and friends.

Linda is preceded in death by her son, James Sattler; her father, Joseph Lorencz; brothers-in-law: Ken and Courtney Sattler; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Steve and Caroline Sattler; and grandson, Logan Sattler.

Visitation will be Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at Juengel-Mellendorf Funeral Home in Sebewaing from 2-8pm with a Rosary at 8pm with Deacon Dave.

Funeral Mass will be Thursday, September 12, 2024 at Our Lady Consolata Parish (Sebewaing). Visitation will begin at the church at 10am until the time of Mass at 11am. Fr. Robert Pare' will be officiating.

Memorial donations may be given to the American Cancer Society.
