Linda Shappell

Linda Jo Shappell, age 64, of Caro, passed away on Monday, June 8, 2009 at her residence in Almer Township. She was born September 14, 1944 in Pontiac to the late Barney and Betty Jean (Kuerbitz) Neeley. Linda moved to Caro from Pontiac in the early nineties and has lived in the area since. She enjoyed garage sales, playing bingo, painting and picture puzzles. She enjoyed her family and the companionship of TPP. She is survived by two daughters, Jackie and Susan; several grandchildren; her siblings, Tolandia and Charles Gray of Caro, David Shappell of Cass City, Crystal and Eddie Collett of Attica and Zetta and Earl Wilson of Caro; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Jan Shappell. The memorial service will be held at Collon Funeral Home on Friday, June 12, 2009 at 2:30 p.m. with Pastor Ronald Wigand officiating. Keeping with Lindas wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at the Collon Funeral Home on Friday from 1:30 p.m. until time of service at 2:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Collon Funeral Home.
