Linda Streeter of Fairgrove, age 77, passed away suddenly on Sunday, February 25, 2018 at McLaren Bay Region in Bay City, surrounded by her family. Linda was born August 23, 1940 in Sanford, North Carolina. It was there that she met and married Robert Streeter on November 1, 1957. Robert preceded her in death in 2003. Linda retired as a CNA at Circle Drive AFC Home in Fairgrove. She lived a simple life and was devoted to her family. Linda loved to cook, was famous for her chocolate sheet cake, loved animals, enjoyed playing euchre with her family, and was an avid reader. Linda is survived by one daughter, three sons and their spouses, Deb Lawson of Akron, Tony & Wendy Streeter of Fairgrove, Justin & Jennifer Streeter of Bay City and Owyhee, Nevada, and Mike & Paula Streeter of Columbia, Tennessee. "Granny" will also be remembered by her fifteen grandchildren and their spouses, Linda, Brooke, Mike, Terry, Jesse, Anthony, Jeff, Craig, Tyler, Jimmy, Zach, Jack, Cameron, Shane and Taylor; and twenty great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters, Sylvia Garner of Elizabethtown, North Carolina, and Peggy & Ronald Cameron of Sanford, North Carolina. In addition to her parents and husband, Linda was also preceded in death by her eldest son, Robert Wayne Streeter, in 2017. In keeping with Linda's wishes, cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at Brookside Cemetery in Fairgrove. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to the Fairgrove District Library, 1959 South Main Street, Fairgrove, MI 48733.
