Linda L. Timko

Linda L. Timko of Caro, age 56, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 28, 2016 at the Cartwright Hospice Center in Saginaw. The daughter of Ralph & Ruth (Rickwalt) Rowell, the former Linda Kaplaniak was born November 2, 1959 in Saginaw. She was united in marriage with Richard Timko on January 31, 2001 on the sandy beaches of the Bahamas. Linda spent much of her working career as a registered nurse, retiring after nearly twenty years of service. She was happiest when she was with her grandchildren and also enjoyed camping and gardening. Linda is survived by her loving husband, Rick Timko of Caro; one son, Ryan Ford of Columbiaville; one step-son, Jason Timko; seven grandchildren; three siblings, Beth Horner of Ypsilanti, Mike Kaplaniak and his wife, Marsha, of Caro, Laura Naughton of Lakeland, Florida; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by one step-son, Ryan Timko. In keeping with Linda's wishes, cremation has taken place and private family services will be held at a later date.
