Linda Sue Trisch

Linda Sue Trisch of Caro, age 69, passed away on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at Select Specialty Hospital in Saginaw. Linda was born December 31, 1948 in Cass City, one of four daughters born to the late Kenneth and Evelyn (Dodge) Russell, and was a 1967 graduate of Cass City High School. She was united in marriage with Roger A. Trisch on June 21, 1969 at the Sutton Sunshine United Methodist Church in Caro. In her early years, Linda was employed at Moore's Drug Store and Timberline Lodge before beginning a long career in bookkeeping for Trisch Septic. She was also a constant and loving caregiver for twenty-two years for her son, Charlie. Linda was a member of Sutton Sunshine United Methodist Church, and enjoyed being outdoors, especially flower gardening. Roger and Linda were inseparable partners and could often be found at one of Caro's restaurants. Linda will be remembered for her loving nature and limitless spirit. Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of forty-nine years, Roger A. Trisch of Caro; one daughter, one son and their spouses, Andrea & Andrew Spannagel of Unionville, Bradley & Renae Trisch of Caro; three grandchildren, Gabriela Trisch of Caro, Karisa Elie of Flint, Joshua Elie and his fianc, Melissa, of Flint; one great-grandson, Liam Elie of Flint; two sisters, Beverly Ann Smith of Caro, Donna Jean Sprague of Linwood; special friend and caregiver to Charlie for nineteen years, Joyce German of Caro; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her son, Charlie, in 2013; and one sister, Janet Thomas in 2015. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at the Caro United Methodist Church with Pastor Penny Parkin officiating. Burial will follow at Ellington Township Cemetery in Caro. The family will be present to receive friends at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro on Friday from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and at the church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to the Sutton Sunshine United Methodist Church or the Family Discretionary Fund.
