Lisa Lynn Spriggs

Lisa Lynn Spriggs, age 45, of Algonac, passed away February 23, 2018, after suffering many years of health complications.

Lisa was born in Bay City on May 11, 1972, to William and Debra (Pillsbury) Harris. She married Shane Spriggs on May 28, 2010 in Caro. She received her Associates degree in nursing from St. Clair Community College. She then worked in home health care as a LPN at various facilities. Lisa was an avid bowler, achieving a 700 series. She also enjoyed music, riding motorcycles and gardening with her green thumb.

Lisa is survived by her mother, Debra Harris of Unionville; husband, Shane Spriggs of Algonac; Son, Derek McHalpine of Sebewaing; daughter, Kaselyn McHalpine of Unionville; stepdaughter, Kaytlin Spriggs of Algonac; grandson, Dillon McHalpine; brothers: Tommy Harris of Reese, Troy Harris of Bay City and Justin Harris of Unionville; niece, Greenlee Harris of Bay City; mother-in-law, Sandra Spriggs of Sebewaing; and daughter-in-law, Melody McHalpine.

She is preceded in death by her father, William Harris and her infant daughter, Kassidy McHalpine.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 from 12pm to 3pm, at Juengel & Mellendorf Funeral Home in Sebewaing.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 27, 2018, at 3pm, at Juengel & Mellendorf Funeral Home in Sebewaing with Pastor Brad Haist officiating.

Memorial contributions may be given to the family.
