Lloyd W. Donohue, age 86, passed away Monday morning, September 15, 2014 at Scheurer Hospital in Pigeon.

Lloyd was born December 20, 1927 in Scioto Furnace, OH to Alfred and Ina (Carpenter) Donohue. He served in the U.S. Army from 1946-1947 and was a member of the Sebewaing American Legion Post # 293. After he was in the service he married Lois M. Rose on July 2, 1949 in Bay Port, MI. They just celebrated 65 years of marriage. Lloyd was employed with C & O (CSX) Railroad, retiring in 1984 as an Engineer of Track for Michigan, New York, Pennsylvania and Canada.

Lloyd loved the outdoors and always had a beautiful vegetable garden. He enjoyed watching baseball and Nascar. Following retirement, they wintered in Davenport, Florida.

Lloyd is survived by his wife, Lois; children: Randy (Lois) Donohue, Patricia Sue (Steve) Najawicz, Mike (Jeri) Donohue and Mark (Sharon) Donohue; grandchildren: Brian (Heather) Donohue, Carol (Clint) Huhn, Stephanie (John) Murin, Jennifer Najawicz, Janis (Ryan) Neiderquill; great grandchildren: Anika and Patrick Donohue, Matthew and Alyssa Huhn, Austin and Damon Neiderquill, and Bryce Stevenson; brother, Oscar Donohue; sister, Betty Browell; sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws: Betty Donohue, Carol Hansen, Jeanette Riddlebarger, Pat Donohue and Don Werschky; and many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Ina Donohue; brothers and sisters: Raymond Riddlebarger, Bill Riddlebarger, Ruth Spriggs, Paul Donohue, Warren Donohue, Albert "Tab" Donohue, Florence Rawlins and Faye Werschky.

Visitation will be Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at Juengel & Mellendorf Funeral Home in Sebewaing from 3-8pm.

The funeral service will be Thursday, September 18, 2014 at Juengel & Mellendorf Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 10am until the time of service at 11am.

Burial will take place at New Bay Port Cemetery, Bay Port (Fairhaven Twp.), MI.

Memorial donations may be given to Community of Christ Church in Bay Port or the Sebewaing American Legion.
