Lois Anne Cutler

Lois Anne Cutler of Fairgrove, age 87, passed away on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at the Tuscola County Medical Care Community in Caro. Lois was born August 24, 1930 in Fairgrove, the daughter of the late Everitt and Neva (Crosby) Cramer, and was a 1948 graduate of Fairgrove High School. She was united in marriage with Frederick W. Cutler, Jr. on June 8, 1949 at the Fairgrove United Methodist Church. He preceded her in death on May 22, 1990. Lois was employed for thirty years at the Caro Regional Center. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Fairgrove and the ladies aid society. Lois loved reading, playing golf and cards, boating, fishing, the Detroit Tigers, and most importantly, spending time with family. She is survived by one daughter, Beverly Voss and her husband, Earl, of Fairgrove; three grandchildren and their spouses, Brian & Cheryl Voss of Caro, Cindy Voss of Fairgrove, Dan & Chris Voss of Fairgrove; seven great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Ethel Cramer of Florida; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Lois was also preceded in death by one brother, Ralph Cramer; four sisters, Margaret Putnam, Ernestine LaJoie, Gwen Retelle, Lillian Voss; and infant twin brothers, Everitt and Emmitt. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 5, 2018 at Grace Lutheran Church in Fairgrove with Rev. Joshua Haller officiating. Burial will follow at Brookside Cemetery in Fairgrove. The family will be present to receive friends at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and at the church on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to Grace Lutheran Church in Fairgrove or the Tuscola County Medical Care Community.
