Lois Evelyn Roy

Lois Evelyn Roy of Caro, age 92, passed away on Monday, November 22, 2021 at Country Comfort Adult Foster Care Home in Caro. Lois was born March 28, 1929 in Detroit, the daughter of the late Harold and Frances (Schurbring) Brown and was a graduate of Port Hope High School. She was united in marriage with Joseph Roy in 1974, and he preceded her in death on August 26, 1997. Lois enjoyed dice, card games, gardening, crossword puzzles, and was an avid reader. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Caro. Lois is survived by two children and their spouses, Ross & Fran Voelker, and Jeannine & Simon Blaz; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; step-children, Greg Roy, Gordon Roy and Cindy Roy; and one sister, Marilyn Loveday of Tennessee. In addition to her parents and husband, Lois was preceded in death by one son, infant Robert Voelker. In keeping with Lois' wishes, cremation has taken place. A graveside service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 3, 2022 at the Indianfields Township Cemetery in Caro.
