Loren E. Finkbeiner
Loren E. Finkbeiner, age 78, passed away Wednesday, September 28, 2016, at St. Mary's of Michigan in Saginaw.
Loren was born December 18, 1937, in Bay Port, the only child of Ellery and Florence (Kain) Finkbeiner. He married Yvonne Bedore on February 8, 1964, in Unionville. She preceded him in death on November 11, 2007. Loren was a lifetime farmer and owned Loren's Lawn Care for 20+ years. He served on the Co-Op Board for numerous years, was a past member of the Sebewaing Sportsmen's Club, a member of Kilmanagh United Methodist Church, bowled on many leagues, enjoyed playing cards, a USA athletics supporter, and liked watching westerns.
Loren is survived by his three children: Lesa (Bill) McCarthy, Jeff (Rose) Finkbeiner and Rob (Ann) Finkbeiner; grandchildren: Kyleigh McCarthy, Cole Finkbeiner, Cody Finkbeiner, and Caden Finkbeiner; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Sunday, October 2, 2016, at Juengel & Mellendorf Funeral Home in Sebewaing from 2-9pm.
The funeral service will be Monday, October 3, 2016, at Kilmanagh United Methodist Church. Visitation will begin at 10am until the time of service at 11am.
Burial will be at Holy Family Catholic Cemetery in Sebewaing.
Memorial donations may be given to Sebewaing Sportsmen's Club, Kilmanagh United Methodist Church or USA Boosters.
