Loretta P. Kirkpatrick

Loretta P. Kirkpatrick of Caro, age 92, passed away on Sunday, November 2, 2014 at the Tuscola County Medical Care Community in Caro. She was born January 19, 1922 in Elmwood Township, Tuscola County, the daughter of the late Carroll and Rosella (Smith) Kirkpatrick. Loretta has resided in Caro since 1933 and was a 1939 graduate of Caro High School. She was the Tuscola County Agricultural Stabilization & Conservation Service (ASCS) secretary-treasurer for fourteen years and Tuscola County Farm Bureau secretary-treasurer for twenty-nine years. Loretta was a member of the Colwood United Brethren Church, Ladies VFW Auxiliary Caro Post #4164, Farm Bureau, and a life member of the VFW National Home. She enjoyed reading and board games. Loretta is survived by many cousins and friends. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 6, 2014 at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro with Rev. Jason Garwood officiating. Interment will be at Indianfields Township Cemetery in Caro.
