Loretta Arlene Mccreedy

Loretta Arlene McCreedy , 94, of Owendale, Michigan, passed away at home on December 12, 2022. She was born July 25, 1928 to Ira A. and Annabell (Mollison) Carpenter in Bad Axe, Michigan.

Loretta married Robert A. McCreedy on August 21, 1948. She is survived by her daughter, Jane Wilkins, her sons, Dean and Keith (Beverly) McCreedy; seven grandchildren: Jeffrey Wilkins, Jason (Brittney) Wilkins, Melissa McCreedy, Stacey (Lucas) Gross, Courtney McCreedy, Andrea (Philip) Ragatzki, and Mya McCreedy; Granddaughter-in-law, Bari Barker; Seven great grandchildren: Bethany, Aubreigh and Jordan Wilkins; Logan McCreedy, Freya McCreedy, Kira Gross and Alyssa Giasanti, and one great great grandson, Bentley Nalley. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Loretta was preceded in death by her husband Robert McCreedy; parents, Ira and Annabell Carpenter; two brothers, Charles and Gordon Carpenter; six sisters, Helen Toner, Annabell Kane, Agnes Jesse Switzer, Rosa Donahue, Margaret Vane and Mary Ellen Gothro; son-in-law, Joseph Wilkins and one grandson, James Wilkins.

A "Celebration of Life" service will be held Sunday, December 18, 2022 at 4pm, at Juengel-Mellendorf Funeral Home in Sebewaing. David Good will be officiating. Inurnment will be at a later date.
