Lori Ellen Martin

Lori Ellen Martin of Caro, age 65, passed away on Friday, November 1, 2024 surrounded by her loved ones. Lori was born August 14, 1959 in Pontiac, the daughter of the late Henry and Edith (Tipper) Nowlen. She graduated from Akron-Fairgrove High School and went on to work at Shopper’s Guide, Century Tel, and then at AT&T for many years. Lori was a remarkable woman, known for her strength, independence, and an unwavering spirit that inspired everyone who knew her. She dedicated her life to her family, finding joy in every moment spent with her children and grandchildren. A true DIY enthusiast, Lori enjoyed painting, home improvement projects, and decorating. Her beautiful legacy of love, creativity, and strength will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Lori is forever missed by her daughters, Mandi (Amber) Spiker and Jen Vaughan; grandchildren, Marci Murillo, Levi Murillo, and Terrin Hickmott; siblings, Dennis (Brenda) Nowlen, Carol (Taft) Taylor, Michael Nowlen, Terri (Doug) Collier, and Jeff (Laura) Nowlen; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. In addition to her parents, Lori was preceded in death by her daughter, Molli Marie Martin and brothers, Dale Nowlen, Jim Nowlen, Tim Nowlen, and Lewis Nowlen.
