Lorna L. Forman

Lorna L. Forman of Caro, age 92, passed away on Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at the Tuscola County Medical Care Facility in Caro. She was born November 18, 1921 in Germfask, Michigan, the daughter of the late Thomas and Maude (Sumerix) McLeish. She was united in marriage with Williard VanBuren Forman on December 10, 1951, and he preceded her in death. Lorna was employed as a cook at Fairgrove Schools for many years, and also at Caro Community Hospital where she worked until her retirement. Lorna enjoyed drawing and painting in her younger years, and loved reading, crossword puzzles, and the marble game Aggravation. Lorna is survived by one son, James Williard Forman of Caro; two grandsons and one granddaughter. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Harold J. and Orville McLeish; two sisters, Margaret Lindsay and Viola Potbery; and two grandsons. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 9, 2014 at the Caro Assembly of God Church with Rev. Arnold Burger officiating. In keeping with Lorna's wishes, cremation will follow the service.
