Lorraine Mae Kurzer, 91, of Caseville, passed away Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at McLaren Thumb Region Hospital in Bad Axe.
Lorraine was born March 18, 1929 in Saginaw to the late Albert and Mabel (Grigg) Botwright. She graduated from Elkton High School in 1948. She married Oscar “Oakie” Kurzer in 1950 and he preceded her in death in 2003. She married D. Wayne Miller in 2007 and he preceded her in death in 2014.
Lorraine retired from Caseville Schools as a cook in 1991. With her husband she owned the Ok’s Boron Service Station in Caseville. She was a member of Elkton United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her children Charles (Penny) Kurzer of Metamora and Cheryl (Dan) Abbe of Elkton; grandchildren Jason (Bekah), Joel, Shannon (AJ) Gaston, Steffany (Bill) Forster, Tracy (Dan) Cavanaugh, Eric (Amy) Abbe; great-grandchildren Todd, Nick, Abbe, Kiersten, Amber, Cheyanne, Marissa, Elijah, Chayton and Aliviah; great-great-grandchildren Raeliegh, Presley and Ryker; and brother Harold Botwright of Bay City. She was preceded in death by her sisters Losetta Radabaugh and Dora Killinger.
Private funeral services will be at Elkton United Methodist Church with Rev. Won Kim officiating. Burial will be in Caseville Twp Cemetery.
Visitation will be Noon to 6:00pm Sunday, March 21st at the Champagne Funeral Chapel in Pigeon.
Memorials may be made to the family or Elkton United Methodist Church.
