Lorraine Marie Taylor

Lorraine Marie Taylor, 83, of Caseville, died Thursday, October 29, 2015 at Courtney Manor in Bad Axe.
Lorraine was born August 31, 1932 in Detroit to the late Ronald and Hazel (Boland) Dunmore. She graduated from Detroit’s St. Rita High School in 1951. She married Duane Taylor on April 5, 1952 at St. Rita Catholic Church in Detroit.
She retired after 30 years as a school bus driver from Utica Public Schools. After retiring she moved permanently from Utica to Caseville. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker.
She is survived by her husband Duane; daughter Kathleen (Gary) Opalach of Dryden and son Michael (Diane) of Metamora; grandchildren Jeffry, Jillian, Carley and Nataley; great-grandchildren Bailey, Leighton and Max; and sister Catherine Nicklas of Caseville.
A funeral mass will be at 11:00am Monday, November 2nd at St. Roch-OLPH Catholic Church with Fr. Robert Pare presiding. Burial will be in Colfax Twp Cemetery.
Visitation will be 1-7 Sunday at the Champagne Funeral Chapel of Caseville. She will lie in-state one hour prior to mass on Monday in Church.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
