Louis James Pechette 54, of Caseville died Monday, December 1, 2014 at his home.

Lou was born October 16, 1960 in Bad Axe, to Mavis (Berry) and the late Francis. He graduated from Elkton Pigeon Bay Port High School in 1978. He married Annette Sznyr at St. Felix Catholic Church on May 8, 2004.

Lou farmed with K-Two Farms. Lou was an active community member involved with Chandler Township planning commission and as state officer with FFA. He enjoyed snowplowing with Shoreline Snowplowing and the Dufty’s Pool League.

He is survived by his wife Annette; sons Glenn (Amanda) Sharpe of Elkton and Cody Sharpe of Caseville; grandson Jackson; mother Mavis of Caseville; brothers Leo of Illinois and Robert of Bad Axe; mother-in-law Elizabeth of Dearborn.

A funeral mass will be 11:00am Saturday, December 6th at St. Felix Catholic Church, Pinnebog with Fr. Robert Pare presiding. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-8 Friday at the Champagne Funeral Chapel of Caseville. He will lie in-state Saturday one hour before mass in Church.
